I recently stumbled across Alex Leighton’s fantastic take on the Masters of the Universe. If you haven’t seen these fantastic paintings, I highly recommend you check out the below link.
Alex Leighton works as an animator in New Zealand and his recent He-Man pieces are so dynamic they’re ridiculous.
My favourite three (He-Man, Merman & Stratos) are below, but definitely hit up Leighton’s blog to check out Skeletor and the rest. He recently did some TMNT paintings as well! (I expect I’ll link to them in a related Turtles rant in the near future).

Honestly though, Alex has created some of my favourite He-Man toons on the net. Who knew Stratos even had this much personality? No one did.
