<p>So if you know me, you know how big of a Lost fan I am. Today marks the return of the glorious show and the show&#8217;s homestretch. I am so excited for tonight I can&#8217;t express myself properly, and even more excited for my life ot have just a little less meaning in 16 weeks! *Single salty tear*</p>
<p>To celebrate, here are some fantastic Lost finds thanks to my good friend the internet.</p>
<p>1. SPOILER ALERT! <a href="http://www.esquire.com/the-side/feature/john-locke-quotes-lost-season-5-012610">Esquire</a> transcribed EVERYTHING one of the best television characters of all time said in season 5: Mr. John Locke. If you want to pour hours of your life away or just have a man crush on John Locke go <a href="http://www.esquire.com/the-side/feature/john-locke-quotes-lost-season-5-012610">here</a>.</p>
<p>2. If you don&#8217;t actually know who John Locke or Sayid Jarrah (from the video above) actually are maybe you should catch up with the NYTimes <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/01/31/arts/television/20100131-lost-timeline.html?hp">Lost Timeline</a> or watch the incredible video below that recaps everything you <em>need</em> to know in 8 minutes:</p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="480" height="295" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yIFL104E9Ts&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="295" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yIFL104E9Ts&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>3. Earlier this week <a href="http://www.io9.com">io9</a> posted a really interesting chart showing all of the character&#8217;s off-island encounters. Definitely fascinating seeing all of these &#8220;coincidences&#8221; laid out graphically. Check it out <a href="http://io9.com/5458478/losts-off+island-character-coincidences-mapped-out">here</a>.</p>
<p>4.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.awesomethompson.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Jack-howling-at-the-moon-misha.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-353" title="Jack howling at the moon - misha" src="http://www.awesomethompson.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Jack-howling-at-the-moon-misha.jpg" alt="" width="356" height="436" /></a></p>
<p>While nothing else should need to be said, the above piece is called &#8220;<em>Jack Is A Wolf Howling At The Moon, And The Moon Is The Face Of Locke</em>&#8221; by artist Misha (from the mind of Paul Scheer). Remember the Masters of the Universe show I <a href="http://www.awesomethompson.com/2010/01/beware-the-unstoppable-power-of-the-snuggernaut/">wrote about last week</a> at the incredibly awesome Gallery 1988? Well they also had a Lost showcase because they are that damned cool! You can check out alot of that work <a href="http://g1988.blogspot.com/search/label/LOST%20Underground%20Art%20Show">here</a> and <a href="http://lostundergroundartshow.blogspot.com/">here</a>. Unfortunately for all of us, the best t-shirt in existence was only for purchase by physically walking into the gallery:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.awesomethompson.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Locke-shirt.jpg"><img class="alignnone size-full wp-image-360" title="Locke shirt" src="http://www.awesomethompson.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Locke-shirt.jpg" alt="" width="384" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>Damnation.</p>
<p>5. Finally move over Wizard Rock, the band <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/theoceanicsixmusic">Oceanic 6</a> has you covered with awesome lyrics and Lost based songs.</p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="480" height="295" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/n-kLB_bFuR8&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="295" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/n-kLB_bFuR8&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;color1=0x234900&amp;color2=0x4e9e00" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>You can check out their youtube page <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/theoceanicsixmusic">here</a> for more.</p>
<p>I have my theories on what happens this season, how about you? If you do, <a href="http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1928556">this contest</a> might be for you!</p>
